Trying to help offset the massive upcoming expenses for

My little 7 month old Grandson Gavin Franklin, Son of James and Kimberly Wilks Franklin has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. A rare form of cancer. He is a fighter, Having gone into the hospital on October 4th at almost 20lbs, Doctors removed a near 3 lb. tumor Monday the 7th. Getting back to close to the weight he was admitted at, he left the hospital yesterday Oct. 16 for the weekend. We are waiting now for PET scans and his first round of chemo therapy next week. The plan right now is for him to have 40 weeks of chemotherapy. James is working and thank the Lord he does have health insurance, Kimberly started her first day as an RN the very same day Gavin was diagnosed so needless to say she is not working so she can devote her time to take care of Gavin. They have a beautiful little girl Olivia 2-1/2 yrs. and her world as well as all of ours has been turned upside down. She wants her Gavin and Mom and Dad to all be in one place.
      The purpose of trying to raise funds is for James and Kim to be able to provide adequate care for Gavin without accumulating a mountain of debt. Health care costs for the most part will be taken care of except for co-pays, individual doctors, trips back and forth  and all of the other costs that no one really thinks of. The doctors have said that Gavin could go through as many as 30 diapers a day during chemotherapy. There could be complications with his treatments that may include several more hospitalizations, The goal we have set is pretty conservative and may have to be adjusted but we are all being optimistic, We are a family of great faith, and we all believe that God has much greater plans for Gavin in the future. We are all starting a very long journey with Gavin at our side and will not give up until he is leading us.
