The University of Utah is conducting field research in Costa Rica as part of an ongoing taxonomy and ecology project. In order to participate as one of 12 students who made it through the application process, I need to raise $2,000 for living, equipment, and travel expenses for the three week study. For more on the nature of this study please visit Dr. John Longino's website: https://sites.google.com/site/longinoantlab/teaching/tropical-field-biology

I hope to receive help from anyone who values the power of higher education, and specifically anyone interested in supporting a young scientist with big ambitions. Dr. Longino has discovered over 70 new species and this is an amazing opportunity to conduct primary research as an undergraduate student.
