Campaign Story
There is another issue has come up with a member of the troop, unfortunatly Vererans affairs wont cover one of his medical bills and he got stuck paying out $300 out of his pocket that he did not have. This has also had other issues impacting this members life i.e. payig for food and other personal issues I can not talk about here so that the identity of this Veteran is not knowen by others. Please help try to raise $490 by Friday so this person does not run into finantial trouble.
Members of 3 Troop C squadron Royal Canadian Dragoons task force 032007 Kandahar
The goal of this fundraiser is to help a group of injured Veterans, after returning from a very dangerous and mentally taxing mission in 2007-2008 a group of 16 Canadians returned to face a challenge equally as great as the war in Afghanistan. Many of the soldiers in this group came back with physical injuries but also hidden emotional injuries. For these soldiers and their families this is when the real battle started. The Goal of this fundraiser is to offer financial support to those soldiers who have medical and travel expenses that they need to pay out of pocket, or to further their education to re-enter the workforce. Many of these vets are on a very fixed income and some of the budget cuts are leaving some of the basic medical care not funded by Veterans Affairs or the Canadian Forces. This fundraiser has every nickle going directly into the hands of the Veteran in need. Your help and generosity is greatly appreciated, The members of the Troop selflessly served their country and were in harms way daily, we hope you can support their recovery, a donation as low as a dollar will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of these Veterans.
Thank you

I really appreciate everyone's help, I really hope I can turn this project from helping a troop to a charity helping all the injured vets of the Royal Canadian Dragoons. A grass roots charity is the only way that funding is able to make it into the hands of the injured vets and not into administration costs like larger charities have. Regards Joseph Angelini
