Campaign Story
Hi! I am Kat. I am raising this campaign to help a friend in her medical needs. This is my friend Trisha Christine Amoroso, most people call her Trish. She is from the Philippines and here's her story.
Back in Highschool she started having small humps and bumps on her skin and a bigger one on her right foot. She was diagnosed with Neurofibroma. A condition wherein tumor grows in the nervous system that causes light brown spots on the skin, freckles, small bumps within nerves and scoliosis. The small bumps on her body were not too obvious until you look at it upclose.
Later on her adult age, tumors started growing inside her body. She have nodules in her forearm, chest and back.
Series of surgeries were done to remove the growing tumor on her forearm and continuous laboratory tests are being done to monitor the nodules in her chest.
Results of scans revealed multiple pulmonary nodules. The recurring tumor on her forearm has now been considered Malignant. Doctors called it "Sarcoma". A rare kind of cancer that grows in connective tissues. Oncologists said it has metastasized through her system and she have to undergo chemotherapy treatment as soon as possible. This is her recent photo:
We are setting this GoGetFunding account to tap your help as she is financially struggling to keep up with her medical needs. It saddens me to know that a bubbly and cheerful friend has to go through this. It came a shock to everyone that a person who was very optimistic and would often radiates happiness has been diagnosed with cancer. Trish had to stop from working because of her condition. She is living with her mom and her younger sister is the only one who manages their finances. Her grandparents had their farm land put into mortgage to help finance her previous surgeries and laboratory tests. Her dad passed away after she finished college. She is currently on a series of tests and scans and will soon undergo series of chemotherapy treatment that requires huge financial support. Her family is worried that they could not handle the cost of this battle.
With this, we humbly ask for your support. Please let us know if you know charitable institutions and contacts in hospitals and NGOs where they could go. This may be too much to ask for, but if you could spare a dime or two for this kind soul in need, you may click on Donate button or send it to her or her mom's bank account:

Trish would like to share her words for you. She said: "Thank you for taking time to visit this account. Some of you who might know me, you know I was a cheerful and fun-loving person. I would always make people laugh and hit on adventures whenever I can. Both of us might not even thought of this happening in my life. I am in a quite challenging situation, keeping my hopes high and trying to be the same joyous person as I was. I highly appreciate your support in my time of needs. I could not fully specify the complete steps of the medical process I will undergo as we are still waiting for the results of my laboratory tests. The expenses were not specified by my physician but I will keep you posted as soon as I got the details. Thank you for your kindness and I pray that we would both surpass whatever challenge comes our way. Well-being flows through us and within us. Keep the faith!".
Thank you so much for your kindness. May you be blessed a thousandfold!

Update posted by KAT I at 01:33 pmThis is my recent visit with Trish. She is halfway through her chemo cycle and she is losing weight. She is currently at home recovering from the last therapy she just had last week. She said nothing is new with her recent experience - the common challenge with I.V. administration. . . . .
Trish on her recent case
Update posted by KAT I at 11:34 amTrish is currently on 4th cycle of her chemotherapy. She is doing good in coping with the effects of the treatment.
