Trip to NYC

Hello there :)

I am a farm boy / web developer from Serbia and I am 19 years old. On my list of places to visit NYC is on the first place. In our country there is a lot of hatred for Americans but I don't think that guys from USA are that bad. I am working on the field almost every day for my holiday, we have machines so it is a bit easier to manage the hard work. We managed to get a lot of tractors and everything but when we earn some money it all goes to my education and my sister is also finishing her studies. Also a lot of money goes back into the agriculture so we aren't spending on travel at all. We went on vacation in 2011 and since then I haven't been to the sea.

I really want to see the big lights of NYC and probably live there, because I am good at web developing and I really want to succeed in that profession. There are a lot of good guys that would host me in NYC there are a lot of them on couchsurfing but my dad wouldn't let me go to another continent and stay at some guy or woman that he doesn't know. So I need this money to pay for the ticket that is around 1000$ and visa for USA and for accomodation. I just want to see the USA that is all, help me get there. I am also studying electronical engineering so that is also going to cost my dad a lot.

I am hoping to go there in march or april depending on my obligations at faculty. Summer is filled with action on the field so I can't leave everything for my father to do. I want to stay at least two nights in NYC I think that is more than enough. Thanks in advance guys :)
