Trip to my Ancestral Home Town

I am setting up this fundraising page to raise funds from my friends and family for a 2 week trip to my ancestral village in Southern Guangdong, China. The purpose of my trip is to document, through interviews, photos and videos, the people of my ancestral village as well as possibly make connections to our family tree to identify long-lost and distant relatives.

The funds raised will go toward:

• Airfare
• Food and Accommodation
• Production of final output which will include at least - One five minute video, fifty photos and three interviews.

Everyone who donates to me will have the opportunity to review all the material that I have gathered from the trip, although I will retain control of what will go into the final output. In addition, all contributors can suggest what they would like me to see and do, and even who they would like me to search for.
