Campaign Story
The Griffin Gives Foundation is honored to partner with Vets 2 Vets and The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team to create an event to support our local first responders and veterans. We are excited to give back to those who provide services to us daily and who have served our country.
On Saturday, May 24, 2014 first responders from the Souderton Fire Company, Telford Police Department, Franconia Police Department and the Telford VFW Post 5308 will participate in a round-robin style softball game against the nationally recognized Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. The event will be held at Franconia Park located on Allentown Road beginning at 8:00am with a special ceremony scheduled for 11:30am including the special arrival of retired Sgt First Class, Dana Bowman.
