Trend Micro is raising money on behalf of Save the Children to support their fundraising campaign - An initiative to Help Keep Filipino Children, Community Health Workers, and Frontline Responders Safe from COVID-19.

As COVID-19 continues to sweep across the world, non-profit organizations are left with little choice but to cancel their fundraising events. Food banks face increasing demand but don’t have enough food. Animal shelters are filled to the brim with no adoption drives in sight. During this time of crisis, we need to do our part to give back to the community. We’re in this together and we’ll get through it together.

To help raise funds, our Trend Micro Philippine team will be virtually climbing Mount Everest (8848 meters in height) which started April 20. To reach the summit, we will be tackling 45 flights of stairs (or hiking the equivalent) each day. That is a total of 3,160 flights of stairs with a target of completion in 70 days!
