AgroForestry project among the primitive Gumuz tribe. The introduction of the Moringa tree as well as other fruit trees has made a huge difference among this tribe that has for centuries lived off being hunters and gathers. Mortality rate for children was over 50%.
The goal is to introduce a variety of trees and train the Gumuz in establishing and running their own nurseries for food and commerce.
