Treatment for Sofy

Imagine having a Baby with immune system issues that make her weak to viruses, now imagine that she is born in the middle of a pandemic with hospitals full of sick people, making the risk of her getting sick even higher.

This campaign is to help pay for the medical treatment for 1-Year-old Maria Sofia, who was born 02/29/2020 at 34 weeks with a couple of medical conditions, this campaign is concerning one of them which is Omenn syndrome, an autosomal recessive form of severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) which has caused her to stay at the hospital for most of her still short life. She requires regular intravenous of the antibody immunoglobin (also known as immune globin, gamma-globin, IVIG, r SCIG) and antibiotics. Due to this condition, she has caught a severe infection before been diagnosed which is the reason she has stayed so long at the hospital.

That treatment is only temporary since she needs Bone marrow transplantation in the upcoming weeks in order to have a chance of survival.

This procedure involves a lot of money for preparation, cost of transplantation and a very long recovery.
