"A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart."

Our tita Lucy is a passionate educator and staunch advocate of learning, a supportive aunt, a cat lover, and a loving friend.

In 2013, she suffered from kidney failure, leaving her no other option but to undergo dialysis treatments in order to survive and continue living a normal life. However, she has been receiving the treatment for over 5 years and her funds are running low. She is required to undergo dialysis 3x a week and spends a total of PHP 78,000 (around USD 1,500) per month for treatments alone, excluding daily living costs and additional medical expenses. She is a retired UP professor and has no other monetary sources other than savings. All other government funding and benefits have been used as well. While we are also pulling in our resources as a family, we're knocking on your kind hearts so we can keep tita Lucy in our lives.

Every little donation towards her dialysis treatments will help prolong her life.

Thank you very much and I hope you can help us spend more time with her! :)
