Travel through America (The Continent)

I´m Andre Golfin, born and raised in Costa Rica, nature and landscape photographer.

Me and my best friend (my dog Nano) have been planning a year round trip throughout the American continent and we are looking for financial aid to make it happen.

Our plans are to travel the continent from Pole to Pole doing volunteer work and photographing the amazing landscapes and nature scenes we have yet to see.

Nano is a rescued animal, a mutt I picked up from the street 6.5 years ago. He has been my faithful companon ever since and we have traveled Costa Rica together.

Last year I went to the Archipelago of San Blas to work with the Kuna community and photograph their beautiful culture and it opened up a world of possbilities for me, now I want to take my dog and travel for a year capturing all of the beauty this continent has to offer.

We will be doing volunteer work in every country as my goal is not to travel for leisure but to photograph and show the world the work of those who are trying to make it a better place for you and for me.

The funds raised herein will be used to finance the traveling expenses and healthcare for Nano, traveling with your pet is a bit more complicated and consumes a bit more money and will also be used to purchase new photographic equipment. We are not aiming to travel first class nor to buy 10 thousand dollars worth of camera equipment, but instead we expect to raise enough to travel for a year long and to buy camera equipment that whilst not being top of the line, will make it through a year of traveling and harsh weather changes.
