Campaign Story
Hi Guys, Molweni !
My name is Luxolo Sonkononkono, Hudson Park High School U14A rugby captain, and I have been selected to be part of the Graeme College Invitational team touring for 10 days to Ireland, 28th September to the 7th of October 2022.
The elite sports tournament has been specifically constructed to expose its participants to the rugby culture and offerings of Ireland. The tournament is co-ordinated by Travel & Sport, the biggest international school operator in Southern Africa. Travel & Sport is allowing us the opportunity to compete against international competition. The tour will be my first international exposure. As a young and Black Fly Half, I would appreciate this opportunity as it would help broaden my horizon and enlighten my blind spots in World Rugby experience and leadership skills. I am super grateful for this opportunity.
The only challenge I am met with is funding myself and covering all expenses for the tour, which brings me to my personal appeal to each and everyone of you to help me raise funds for the tournament. Travel & Sport has helped me open a funding account where I will directly deposit your donations. Thank you for your support and I vow to pay it forward.
