Travel and Life

There was a time when I was just like you. I wanted to save and scrap up to hopefully retire. But I've since let go of that nonsense. I realized life is to short to play it safe. What's the point of living to 100 and having nothing exciting to show for it? I'd rather live a short life that was filled with doing what I wanted, then a long life lived in boredom.

So here I am, over 50 years of age. Haven't travelled much or did much and time is running out day by day. I plan to take a trip around Canada and visit all the beautiful places. Document my trip, take photos, record videos, the works. I do however need some contributions and was hoping that whoever is reading this may be the one to help. It's not super important that you donate, believe me I get that.

I mean there's people dying of cancer, in need of medical help, hungry children to feed and of course Africa. Sadly every donation page I saw has been some sad pity me story. I say if your dying, then get off your ass. Jump in a plane, fly 30,000 feet and strap on a parachute and jump! The thrill alone might heal your cancer.

I'm only joking of course, but in reality this can be a great medicine. Life is short people, and if you have the extra funds to spare I'd love to take those and put them to my use. I'd love to travel the country of Canada. See the beauty, capture it all on camera, the people, the atmosphere. And just understand what it means to be Canadian at the core. And also to get a feel for the land and the smell of the grass.
