I am a South African Globetrotter.

and I started a new challenge where I want to prove to the world that you don't need a new car and $1000's of Modifications to travel the world. (although Modifications make things easier) but that you can have a small car with a 1.0 Litter Engine and with your friends you can conquer the world.

In the end… every breakdown or wheel change will be a lasting memory.

So recently I bought a 1985 Suzuki SJ410 1.0L

Soon after the Purchase my best Friend gave my Little Suzuki the name - Goliat (Goliath) not because of its size… but the size of its heart…

Thinking about a 32 Year old car - 6th Owner an have been in a number of accidents involved.

it was DEFINITELY not a Mint Condition… Even though the Add and the Dealership where I purchased Goliat (Goliath) said that the Engine is in "MINT CONDITION" It used a total of 6 Litres of Oil on a Trip less than 1000km (Cape Town to Kimberley) where I will start my project.

Well with the Engine, Radiator, Electrical wires basically being non existence… I had to redo/Recon everything which set me back more than I budget.

I started building up Goliat (Goliath) and did a number of modifications

- Recon the Original Engine

- Recon the Original Gearbox

- Redo the Wiring

- Remove & Respray of all Rims

- Redo all Manual Locking Hubs

- New LED Headlights

- New Shocks

Till date…

But I Still need a few things before I can start my trip.

The following things still need to be done

- Building an Aluminium Canopy

- Winch Plate & a Winch for recovery

- Additional Recovery equipment

- New Steering damper (as Current one is KAPUT)

- New Tires

- 2way radio

my Final wish is to get Goliat (Goliath) ready to take part in the 2019 Put Foot Rally
