Please donate to the bail fund to support the nine trauma center activists who are still being detained under misdemeanor charges from the University of Chicago Police Department.

The protestors were arrested while sitting in at the University of Chicago's administration building, demanding that President Zimmer open a level 1 adult trauma center now, to show that black lives matter.

Instead of engaging with the activists, who said they would move if they were granted a meeting with President Zimmer, the University administration responded with incredible force and arrested all nine.

These arrests continue a legacy of U of C police brutality against those who dissent against its agenda. The University administration responded with disproportional harshness, in a demonstration of the fact that they do not value the lives of the members of the communities around them.

After spending two nights in jail, the protestors will go to bond court Friday morning. Please support them through donating to their bail fund.
