It was a good day on November 25, 2015 that I felt severe pain in my chest.I have been working in Saudi Arabia when I have suffered severe chest pain. I was admitted in the hospital for 5 days with the diagnosis of mild stroke which turns out to be a misdiagnosis from my attending physician.I was discharge November 29 as doctors prognosis was only a case of mild stroke. Two days ( December 2, 2015) after my discharge from the hospital, I suffered numbness from my waist down and later on I can"t urinate. I was brought back to hospital and as we walk from the parking to the ER, I can feel that I felt so weak and can hardly walk. At the emergency, I was then catheterized to void my urine and the doctors do all necessary tests to further their diagnosis. I was then subjected to CT scan of the brain, Doppler ultrasound, 2D echo and MRI of the spinal cord. MRI revealed that I have swelling of the spinal cord causing me to be paralyzed from breast area down to my legs. It was a case of TRANSVERSE MYELITIS a very rare disease. This swelling block /interrupts the messages that the spinal cord nerves send throughout the body.causing pain, muscle weakness, paralysis, sensory problems, or bladder and bowel dysfunction. On December 20, 2015, the company I was working with the clearance from my neurologist sent me back home to Philippines to have my complete rest and recovery and to have my family to attend to my personal care. On January 6,2016 I am on on verge of death due to massive bleeding of the rectum and septic shock as complications unavoidable. There was also two succeeding hospital admissions afterwards due to bleeding of urethra and urinary infection. My urologist then subjected me for operation (suprapubic cystostomy) so as to relieve my urethra from further trauma. The neurologist also required me to undergo follow up MRI to see the progress of treatment but up this date, I was not able to subject myself to both procedures due to lack of funds . I have my lifetime routine physiotherapy ( 6x a week at Php 700 per session) but also been halted for the same reasons. All the savings are gone and we have even sold the piece of land we inherited from our parents. It was a burden really big that sometimes weaken my will to survive. I am a father to a 7 year old son which I cant provide to all his needs. My wife is the one taking care of me day in day out so we really don't have any means to generate income to sustain my needs that's why I'm appealing to you good people to help me in this difficult times of my life. Any amount you send is a big, big, big help to me and my family's burden.

At 46, I know I still have a good life ahead and with your compassionate help, I will continue with this journey of life.

Please help me and my struggle to regain my life as it was before.
