Transport to Solidarity Saturday at UK’s Fracking Front Line, Upton – J16

We're raising funds to mobilise people to get to Upton, the UK’s fracking front line for Solidarity Saturday on 16th January. If you're not able to join us there, but could donate to help us subsidise transport to Upton so that more people can get involved and come along, that would be amazing.

We realise 'tis the season to be skint, but any contribution really would help.

Despite paying lip service to the Paris Agreement the UK Government is still pushing gas and nuclear as our major energy sources. This is our first chance to fight back against the new round of fracking licences. It is up to us to draw the line.

If the camp is still standing strong we will reinforce their defences. If however the drill is in place, it is our opportunity to get in the way of business as usual. This will be a family friendly event where people can get involved at whatever level they feel comfortable with. The plan is to gather on site from 11.30 and stay until dusk.
