Hello to all. I am stuck in Thailand due to travel restrictions etc. Thailand is very famous for its magnificent Ladyboy shows (I have attached some photos). There are very many transgender people in Thailand and many foreign men come to Bangkok to have gender-changing surgery. Normally, people are very accepting and tolerant here, but during this recent crisis and lockdown things seem to have changed. People generally have no money, all the shows have been closed for months, and some people are now being bullied for being transgender and are now begging on the streets.
I would like to help, by raising the money to at least find and pay for safe accommodation for them, and also to buy them food once a day. Rooms and food are cheap here, a basic but decent room only costs about £12 per night, and a meal from a street vendor costs about £2.
Please help if you can, even the smallest donation will be very much appreciated, it could save someone from sleeping on the street for a few nights. I am British so have shown the costs in British Pounds, but I am in Thailand now. Feel free to visit, if you are able, and please enjoy browsing my photos too.
