Transatlantic sailing adventure

Hi!
I'm a 21 year old woman from Sweden who loves to go out and explore, learn and try new things. I'll therefor have a gap year starting next semester to go and sail with the tall ship Bark Europa from the Netherlands on a 4990 nautical miles and 44 days long transatlantic voyage. I decided to do this in order to get more energy for my final years in school. For the past four summers I've been sailing small ships along the Swedish westcoast but this is something I've never done before and I'm so exited! The biggest adventure of my Life so far!

I'll embark on 02/10 in Tenerife and from there visit Cape Verde on the way to the final destination which is Montevideo.

All of the donated Money will be used in funding this crazy idea, most of it will of course cover the cost of me sailing on board Bark Europa but I also need the get to Tenerife and home again from Montevideo.

If it won't be possible for me to go on their voyage this year for some reason I will make sure to put away all the fundings and save them to the next sailing season.
