Trans Tiffany’s medical costs

To the LGBTQIA+ community, you guys are the best!! Hi, my name is Tiffany Laurens, a 21 year old transgender female who is currently undergoing her final stages of gender confirmation surgery. I have had a successful journey up to so far and have had great support from my parents throughout this journey, mentally, and spiritually.

This is why I find this hard to write because although they have been a great support system, we are a very small middle class African American family and things have never been easy for us. So much so that I have had to take on Sex work, waiting, informal commerce and a a few other categories of work just to support myself and help the family.

I've used most of the money covering costs for my medical journey of gender confirmation. Things have been going well until now, I have been released by my current employer and replaced although I begged and pleaded with him to allow me to finish my payments first. When I refused to take him up on his offer to get the surgery paid in exchange for sex, he fired me on the spot and didn't even grant me any benefits.

I'm writing this to you pleading that you please find it in your heart to donate a few dollars and help me reach the finish line of this journey, it would mean the world to me.
