Trancescension Together as One against cancer!

Hello and welcome.

My name is Jeroen but you might better know me as Vorcera a dutch Trance dj.
Music brings us all together in one way or another and we know that together we can achieve more than alone.
This is the reason why I want to use that to help support cancer research.
And with you helping me that will be a small but certain step further in the direction of a cure for cancer.

I will be donating all the raised funds to KWF.
A charity organisation that collects money for research on medicine against all kinds of cancer.

As you don't know me at all I would like to make a little introduction about myself and why I do this.
I will skip the first 19 years or so and get right into it.

In 2014 I finaly started working on my life goal, becoming a Trance dj that would travel the world.
My main focus was and still is to get as many people together and have a great time.
That's what it is all about in music right? getting together and having the time of our lifes.

When I started to get a nice little following I kept thinking I wanted to do something more than just playing music, doing more outside of the music.
Support great causes for instance but that never really worked out like I wanted it to.

Now in 2016 I am 2 years later and I met a lot of people, made many new friends and got closer to my life goal.
The only thing I still haven't done is supporting a good cause and this year was a big turning point for me.

I sadly lost my father to cancer.
He was diagnosed with it in 2015 and in march this year he passed away.
When I look back at it is like it all happend in the blink of an eye and it left us with such a big emptyness.

That whole experience got me thinking I should do something with my life.
I should enjoy life more.
I should enjoy the things I have and not be sad about what I haven't.
I should be more appreciative of the people that help me in my life and that are there for me when I need them.
Life can be over faster than you can think.

This all got me thinking about what I should do with my music.
I had to do something and I had to do it before it is to late.
So here I am.

On the 17th and 18th of Dec I am organising the 3rd Trancescension Festival.
It will have many dj's and over 24 hours of amazing music.
And this is the perfect oppertunity to start getting together and do something for a good cause.

The TranceFamily is so big and so widespread on this world that I have seen with my own eyes that together we can do anything and overcome any hurdle they throw our way.
But sadly there are things that we can't control.

I play music because I love the genre, because I love the people that tune in, because I love the experience of having a great time together with others.
No faith,
No religion,
No gender,
No color
JUST TOGETHER WITH THE MUSIC.

This made me think only one thing.

"Music brings us together. Don't let Cancer tear us apart"

And this will be the mindset that will be connected to me from this day on out.

This year the theme of the Trancescension Festival will be

"Together as one"

Cause together we can do anything.
Together we can take on the world.

And together we can fight cancer!

I would like to ask for your support and help get to our goal or way beyond that.
