Training Teachers in Google’s Education Services for Schools

As one of only about a dozen Google Certified Trainers for their "G Suite for Education" services within 100 miles of me, I have started a small (one man) business - Intelligo LLC - to help bring these amazing digital productivity, collaboration, and communication applications to private schools around the Lowcountry, Midlands, and Pee-Dee/Coastal regions of South Carolina. Lacking the funding and manpower afforded by large school districts, private schools are often left lacking when it comes to implementing full scale technology changes. As Google's educational offerings, from G Suite's applications to Chromebooks and Android tablets, are rocketing to first place in popularity in schools across the country (over 50% of K-12 schools are using G Suite for Education, as are 7 out of the 8 Ivy League universities), I feel that the time for our South Carolina private schools to take advantage of these tools. As a private schools teacher (Latin) for 14 years, I helped implement G Suite for Education usage in my own school and personally saw how successful it was for students and teachers alike (not to mention the parents, administration and non-teaching staff).

With your generosity, I can help these private schools become proficient in utilizing this new and powerful learning tool. As with any tool, it can only work as well as the skill of the user who works with it. No amount of technological advancement can make a student a better learner - it takes a teacher who is well trained and well equipped to help a student achieve the greatest potential. I want to help those teachers to do just that. It is the reason I started this business after all. Yet forming a new business is a difficult, if worthwhile, endeavor and I hope you will help me to make Intelligo successful - not for my sake but for the sake of private school education in South Carolina.
