Campaign Story
We are aiming to teach girls especial in rural areas on how to make their own reusable sanitary pads so as to maintain menstrual hygiene to girls in schools. We are asking for financial support so as we can buy the necessary material for making pads such as cotton cloth, sewing machines, needle, thread, water proof material, towels and transportation costs to the schools. Having these pads will increase girls attendance in schools, improve menstrual hygiene in schools and reduce environment problems related to poor menstrual hygiene. We will reach 5 schools in Arusha region, where by we will distribute reusable pads and teach them on how to make them.
