TRAINING OF IT, INTERNET, SOCIAL MEDIA AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR THE POOR, MARGINALIZED, DISABILITY AND VICTIMS OF DISASTER YOUTH 2018/2019

The lack of knowledge, skill, competency, & insight for the youth in developing countries has brought the huge impact, such as rising of unemployment, poverty, underdevelopment and violence. If these problems do not resolve wisely, it is not impossible to escalate into the crime or terrorism. But however, we are realize that the government in developing countries do not have enough funds, resources, equipment and special programs that can increase knowledge, skills & resources for the youth.

Non Government organizations are urgently needed for their role in bridging the technological gaps for the poor, marginalized and disability youth (gender equality) to help develop their potential, creativity, talents, initiative and social responsibility through the training in the field of technology, entrepreneurship and other life skills.

NGO BAMBAPUANG EDUCATION AND INFORMATION (YAYASAN PENDIDIKAN DAN INFORMASI BAMBAPUANG) established in 1999 with Notary Deed of Establishment Number 16.06.1999, June, 22 1999. Since established NGO BAMBAPUANG has been actively and sustainable providing of IT, Internet, Social Media, Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Home Industry, Local Skills, Basic English, Handy crafts, donating textbooks, stationery and uniform and other Education and Social Activities for the students, youth and general community with free and gender equality.

This project will provide of TRAINING OF IT, INTERNET, SOCIAL MEDIA AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR THE POOR, MARGINALIZED & DISABILITY YOUTH with free and gender equality. Trainees about 320 of participants from five districts (Enrekang, Cendana, Maiwa, Bungin & Anggeraja) in Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia.

Duration of projects are twelve (12) months, with eighteen hours per week & divided into several groups. The target of this training is the poor, marginalized and disability youth who have interests, desires, creatives & talents in improving their potential & skills to improve their quality of life, so that they will be able to use their knowledge and skills in their daily life, apply for a better job or open their own business. In addition, the trainees will be able to share/spread their knowledge and skills to others around their environment, so that everyone can gets benefits and able to improves their quality of life.
