Campaign Story
We write to seek partnership with your Organization on our charitable activities and projects in the Oti Region of Ghana. Nkosec 93 Foundation is a registered non-governmental, and not-for- profit Organisation. It was founded by the Alumni of Nkonya Secondary School, the 1993-year group. The goal of the Foundation is to promote peace and sustainable development in the entire Oti Region.
The Foundation seeks to work with all stakeholders to promote good health, quality education, youth empowerment, peace and sustainable development in our target communities. The Foundation obtains funding for its activities, and projects from contributions from the Alumni of Nkosec, grants, and donations from partners and Special Fund-Raising events.
From January to March 2021, the Foundation with support from its partners successfully embarked on series of activities to promote a sustainable environment, and nature conservation. The activities also sensitize the target communities on the need to preserve vegetation, protect farmers’ investment to promote bush fire prevention. Social Media Campaign, Radio Stations Publicity, and Community Durbars were used to inform, persuade and remind various stakeholders on the need to stop bush fire and promote nature conservation. Some farmers were given farm boots and cutlasses as an incentive.
