Tracey Long Medical Fund

Tracey Long, my wife, has been having chest pains for the past couple of weeks.  But today they were so intense, she felt compelled to seek medical treatment at the hospital.  After 3 hours Emergency Room visit, they stated her bill would be $10,000.  They ran all the tests they could and found no cause for or relief for the chest pains.  So we left, in the same condition she started in, except, owing $10,000.  We thought we had Obamacare insurance, since we signed up for it in October.  But apparently due to the glitches in the website, we never knew that we were supposed to be contacted by a state agency for medicaid.  The State of Alaska was supposed to contact us and even though they didn't, we applied through them in December on our own so that we would have insurance while unemployed.  They gave us insurance until we were employed in January.  I will get insurance in just a couple of weeks, after the 90 days, but nevertheless, we were supposed to revert back to Obamacare since the State dropped us.  Not knowing what to do or how or when to follow up or reapply, today we have a $10,000 medical bill we can't afford.
