Towards My Dream

My name is Christine Mae Buyain, 20 years old and currently a freshman in Psychology. I am looking to raise $400 to help me pay for my college tuition fee this semester.

I have started a small online business early this year, unfortunately, it didn’t last long for my funds were scammed and I had to close my business. In return, my college tuition fees are not paid, and I don’t have any other means to do so. I had tried applying to different job openings from being a Virtual Assistant to Customer Service, but to no avail. My dream is to be a Psychologist in our country, the Philippines, as I’ve found out that there are only a few registered Psychologists here and most Filipinos have a negative view on mental health. Most Filipinos view mental health issues as being crazy with a few loose screws on their head, and it is my vision to change this concept of the Filipinos and regard Mental Health as vital as Physical Health.

I am writing to you to ask you to support me and my dream. Just a small donation from prayer to a dollar is openly accepted, as they may look lame to other people, it is a big help to me. I believe that my dream to be a Psychologist and to give back to the community isn’t as heroic as others act, however, relevant to the growing cases of depression leading to suicides, I may help more people rediscover their self-worth.
