Towards Loan/Debt Free Life, A New Vehicle and Nice Holiday(s) with My Family

I am a public servant, have a wife and 6 kids; 5 boys and a girl. My salary, after converted to USD, would be about less than USD1,000.

As a diploma holder, my family could barely go by with my relatively low income. And with a lot of personal loans, I couldn't afford to have nice holidays with my family. The only "long trip" we could have would be when we're visiting my in laws in northern Malaysia, a 740km journey we made at most 2 times for any given year. Even then, we would just stay at home most of the time instead of sightseeing or visiting places. I live in the south by the way.

I just bought a second-hand MPV that costed almost USD12,000 (with interest)...and that further increased my loans. FYI, more than half of my salary went to pay my loans (personal loans for unsuccessful business and other things, a car loan and a housing loan).

My dream would be living debt free life, and could travel for holiday oversea with my family, at least once in my lifetime. I've never been/flying in a plane, and would love to experience it, after COVID-19 cured, that is.
