Costa Rica Tourism & Culture app

This idea was born with the objective of giving hope and support to the highly-impacted Costa Rican tourist sector. Small businesses depending on tourism, which represents 6.3% of the Costa Rican GDP, are suffering greatly the consequences of the current world situation. This app will be a game that educates everyone in Costa Rican culture and helpful, relevant touristic information, such as important landmarks, flora and fauna from every part of the world, stimulating visitors to discover our country and promoting future visits as an alternative while the COVID-19 situation improves.

Funds are planned to cover the following expenses:

1. Development of app and website.

2. Research, documentation and validation of the content

3. Visits to tourist centers/facilities

4. Market study.

5. Operating costs to launch

6. Post-launch contribution measurement add-ons

My goal is to have this project fully funded in the next two months in order to make this a reality. By funding this project, you’re just not promoting education in a worldwide level, but you will also be promoting nature and customs preservation and helping to re-activate small economies from which thousands of families depend on. In these difficult times, the best step for me to take as a Costa Rican, is to use my skills to help my people.
