Tough Woman Fights Cervical Cancer

I'm an ordinary person trying to work on this fundraising campaign. The recipient is the mother of my best friend, Aunt Melanie.

A week ago, 23rd of May 2016, my best friend Kezia found out that her Mother have a cervical cancer and now on its 2nd stage. The ob-gyne told them, she needs to be treated. Hence, tests, surgery, chemotherapy and other medicines. And we all know that this kind of treatment is not cheap. Each session of chemotherapy alone costs PhP 30,000, that is around $800 - $900 out of 8 sessions. With an addition of surgery expenses and the list of medicine that needs to be taken. We are aiming to raise at least $10,000/ PhP 400,000 for this to happen.

People might ask about Kezia.

Kezia is the only one working in their family, and she's also the only person whose paying for her younger sister's education.

"What about her Father?"

Her Father is also sick.

She, even herself, is sick (Bilateral Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and have to pay for her own medicine. Therefore, it's clear that her income is really not enough to cover all the necessary medical expenses for her Mother.
