Global Alliance for A Healthy Society (GAHSO) is a right-based and demand-driven youth-led Community Based Organization registered in 2016, in Kenya. It aims at promoting research, improving access to quality education, health, better sanitation and reduction of poverty. GAHSO’s main objective is to provide socio economic empowerment programmes through provision and promotion of easy access to quality Healthcare, Education, Improved agribusiness initiatives, ICT, Water and sanitation and Advocacy for good governance and accountability.

Besides, GAHSO is committed to promoting and advocating for social, legal, cultural, and economic inclusivity particularly for the marginalized population in the society.

GAHSO calls for your support to work to meet locally identified needs, and as such, are perfectly positioned to make sustainable social change in the county of Siaya by targeting at least 100 orphans and vulnerable children. GAHSO proposes to target these OVCs in Alego Usonga sub county. GAHSO intends to employ case management approach to OVC programming, carry out capacity building, and conduct household economic strengthening activities as key to the project.

The $5000 donation will help meet the direct needs of the orphans and vulnerable children in the sub county during the COVID-19 pandemic. The drive will ensure we provide food, PPEs materials, sanitary towels, clothing and shelter for the vulnerable children.
