Campaign Story
Latest on Ohno-san's case.
APRIL 13,2017: He was again rushed this morning to the hospital. His second time since we brought him home last Saturday, APRIL 8,2017. He will again be confined today and would require a huge amount of money because specialists will be looking after him. He badly needs good doctors. And we badly need your help.
This is his story:
Ohno-san (Toshio Ohno) is a Japanese national who is a widower without any children. He decided to come and live here in the Philippines around five years ago and met a lot of our fellow Filipinos who promised him businesses with good outcome but all went down the drain. 2 years ago, he met my father from some common acquaintances and became friends with him. Last year, he decided to move to Pangasinan and I hadn't heard from him since then. Last week, we received a call from someone saying that Ohno-san has been staying in Pangasinan hospital for 3 weeks already, and that the doctors said that if he wouldn't be moved to where there is a doctor who specializes in his case, he could die. My father decided to help and move him from Pangasinan to Baguio City, which is our hometown (he arrived the other day, Tuesday, March 21, 2017). We found out that he has ulcer, UTI, diabetes, and an Abdomenal Aortic Aneurysm. No friends, no family members, no one could help him now but us. He lost everything that he had because of 'dorobou' as he says or bad guys, and urgently needs our help. My mother and I have been taking care of him alternately. As for now, we have been spending for his medication, diapers, milk (to help nourish him as he is already very malnourished), etc. and I know that our capability is very limited. Let's all extend our hands to help him with his surgery, help him recover and let him know that there are still good people out there willing to help him.
To those who want to visit him and extend help personally, you can drop by at BGH (Baguio General Hospital) 4th floor, charity ward.
You can also send donations to Metrobank, acct # 388-3-388-14608-8, Elaisha Cabusao.
Any amount will do, say P50 - it can get 2 diapers, P100, or whatever you'd wish to.
You can find the latest on Ohno-san's situation in the "UPDATE" section. Thank you.

Another CT Scan
Update posted by Elaisha Cabusao at 03:13 amHello friends, today will be Ohno-san's 6th Day in the hospital. The doctor ordered another CT scan for him yesterday.A very good samaritan is helping so we're able to purchase diapers, food and other stuff needed for Ohno-san. Next challenge will be the various lab tests like CT scan, etc.
Update on Ohno-san's situation
Update posted by Elaisha Cabusao at 11:55 amHello friends. . The hospital decided to discharge Ohno san, so we had to get him out. According to them, if he stayed longer, he might get a 'hospital acquired pneumonia.'My parents tried to check DSWD if Ohnosan could stay there but unfortunately, no place for him. There's a store. . . . .
