Mitso had to be readmitted to the vet clinic for the 3rd time in 4 months. She suffers from gingival hyperplasia, shown in the photo on the left side (thank you to our vets At The Vets for the photo). The teeth on that side of her mouth had already been removed but her gums have overgrown once again into that folded mass, causing her great pain and discomfort.
This condition makes it hard for her to eat, which is why she has lost much weight and her fur has lost its shine. Vets have treated her and removed a few more teeth. Gingivitis alongside periodontal disease is very painful and is one of those things i despair about. A urine profile analysis was performed to check her organ function and the results are fine. She will be back at the vets in 2 weeks for another antibiotics shot and maybe more tests.
MiTso is a beloved, affectionate shelter cat, who deserves vet care and to live her shelter days pain free. As this is her 3rd visit at the vet in such a short time, i will need to make a fundraiser for her; I can't cover any more vet bills. Two of my house cats have created big bills at the vet and I can no longer redirect funds from my household to KG...
If you care to donate directly, send your donation to PayPal account [email protected] with subject MiTso! OR to our vet clinic At The Vets; she is well known there and loved greatly for her character and funky moustache!
