Two girls. One classic car. One goal: Rallye Monte-Carlo!
Life rewards the courageous few!
The Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), attracts hundreds of enthusiasts every year! More than 300 cars and their teams plan, prepare and pray for good fortune as they climb the starting ramps around Europe, on their way to Monte-Carlo and adventure!
Tine Hallre has participated in the rallye for several years as a co-pilot. Torhild, her mother, has often been there to support her and greet her at the finishing line. 20 years ago, Torhild was a navigator on similar rallies. Hmm... What does it take to win the Ladies Cup together? However, normal household budgets do not include classic cars and Monte-Carlo rallies.
Girl Power
At the prize-giving ceremony this year, they made a promise to each other. A toast to girls and girl power! To a crazy (and totally out of reach financially), but once-in-a-lifetime quest to compete for Coupe des Dames!

The search for a car
We immediately started looking for a suitable car, but weeks of browsing did not give much hope! Historic rally cars are expensive! Suddenly, Tine came across a VW Beetle that she recognized. A 1973, VW 1303S model, built by a true VW enthusiast and expert mechanic in Norway. Better still, built and prepared especially for the very same Monte-Carlo Historique some years ago. YES! Now we have a car!

From Women's Day to Women's Trophy
As of today, 8th of March - The International Women's Day, we launch a crowdfunding project for the cost of entering and completing the most popular historic rallye of all time!
It would be be an adventure for both daughter and mother if we could drive this legendary rally together, so we really hope you are willing to support us in our quest!
Our goal is to be the best female team and to win the Ladies Cup, or Coupe de Dames! We hope you will join us in our craziness!
The dates are set: January 25th – February 1st 2017.
