Ivy has always got cavities and rabbit teeth. That’s what we called them only to learn that the rabbit teeth are called overbites and the other ‘weird’ teeth are called misalignments; those cavities have caused two of her molars to fall off and two other molars are all ‘eaten out’. She did not know how bad her teeth were until she had her first dentist appointment 3 years ago.

2017- She always had an unending toothache that was constantly pulsating and Ivy took a pain killer daily in order to be able to manage the tooth pain. Diclofenac – was the pain killer; It was readily available and only cost 10 shillings ($ 0.1). This was not a viable solution that she later came to find out, the chemist that was selling the medication to her sat her down on one of her frequent visits to the chemist and told her that the pain killers were just but a temporary solution and she should actually consider going to the dentist for consultation. Ivy could not afford a consultation fee of about $20 and the chemist referred his friend’s help who was still in dental school to just check out Ivy’s teeth. He made a few recommendations that she would an x-ray and at least an extraction of the tooth that was causing her sleepless nights and then the other problem areas would be looked into after. Oh, Ivy is my younger sister. So after Ivy told me all this, I paid for the X-ray and tooth extraction that were done at backstreet (could be a quack) for $50 and got her pain meds to assist with the healing process. She was ok and her self-esteem rose again until

2019- the other two molars started giving her sleepless nights again. Remember, those I had mentioned earlier, those that were eaten out. Visible in the photo at the bottom left. Ivy is in pain , she is back on pain killers, her wisdom tooth is growing with a hole, she cannot chew well, she has a type of mouth odor and her self-esteem is gone. Ivy does not speak in front of people and prefers to lock herself indoors.

I would like to restore Ivy’s smile and confidence by getting her 2 tooth extractions just so she can be a normal and happy human being and get her braces to correct the overbite and misalignments as well to boost her confidence again. I would like that to be her gift from me (and the World) to her. That is why I am asking for your help now. I have exhausted my available funds and need help with this one. I thank you in advance for any help you can provide me. May God bless you and yours.
