Tools to Advance in Calligraphy

I'm Ninay and I fell in love with creating art using dip pens, brushes and watercolor. My journey with calligraphy started in April 2015 and I had fallen deeply in love with it. I am self-taught and I learn through free tutorials and videos online. The tools that I use are purchased using my own savings. I intend to advance my knowledge and skills by taking online courses from a sought-after penman and by buying professional tools. As one penman said "You can only be a master in your craft if you use what the masters use in creating their artwork."

I will put a list of the tools and materials that I plan on purchasing on below. I will continue to save up to purchase these tools and I hope that you can help me raise the amount to be able to purchase the items sooner. The items are listed according to my personal priority/needs and I will update the list once an item is purchased.

Tool 1 Crafting table

I am currently invading our dining space to do calligraphy. My father who is a good furniture maker and a supporter of my craft, volunteered to make me one, just like the table in the photo below.

Tool 3 Nibs

I have 9 nibs at the moment and some of which are too rusty to be longer useful. I would like to experiment on other nibs. Each nibs cost around $0.50-$1.50. I would like to purchase this nib sampler set. This have 25 classes of nibs x 2 = 50 nibs in a set.

Tool 3 Winsor & Newton

This is premium watercolor. It's pigment is good for brush calligraphy and for adding colors and designs with pointed-pen calligraphy.

Online course Connie Chen Master penman

Why do I choose her to be my mentor? I have read her profile and watched her video. She is a graduate penman and I support her cause on using calligraphy to spread the word of God. I love her style in calligraphy and her spirit and intentions towards making art.
