Too young to die. – we still need your help please! Pomóżcie nam znów proszę!

Dear All, as you remember my husband Artur is fighting with the malignant brain tumor, GBM IV. You have already helped us tremendously when we wanted to help him with the immunotherapy treatment in Spain and thanks to you and this treatment and all other treatments possibly here we are, over a year and a half later. Artur is very brave but suffers a lot. The tumor is still active and to keep it under control Artur has been given bevazicumab and irinotecan combo treatment every three weeks. Unfortunately this treatment is not refunded by our national health insurance for this particular disease so we pay for that from our savings, no matter the fact that Artur had paid zillions throughout his working life to NFZ (National Health Insurance). It is a lot, as each dose costs 12400,- PLN (around 2900 Euro). Honestly without your help I am not sure how long we will be able to continue this treatment. Again, I know that there is a lot of people with good heart. Please donate even small amount of money, I would like to ask you to set up a recurrent payment with small amount of money which would help us to keep the treatment. Kochani! Jak pamiętacie mój mąż Artur walczy z glejakiem wielopostaciowym. Pomogliście już nam bardzo kiedy potrzebowaliśmy dużej sumy pieniędzy żeby zrobić Arturowi operację za granicą i zacząć immunoterapię szczepionką eksperymentalną. Dzięki temu jesteśmy wciąż razem, ponad półtorej roku później. Artur jest bardzo dzielny ale musi znosić wiele cierpienia. Guz niestety wciąż jest aktywny i żeby utrzymać go w ryzach Artur dostaje tzw. combo z podwójnej chemii: bevazicumabu wraz z irinotecanem co trzy tygodnie. Niestety leki te nie są refundowane przez NFZ na guza mózgu i płacimy za nie z własnej kieszeni, mimo, że od wielu lat Artur bardzo dużą część swojej pensji oddawał na NFZ. Idą na to nasze oszczędności, które niestety w tempie zastraszającym się kurczą. Leczenie kosztuje nas 12400 PLN za każdy wlew. Bez Waszej pomocy nie wiem jak długo jeszcze damy radę je utrzymać. Bardzo liczymy na pomoc dobrych ludzi. Jeśli uda mi się namówić Was na ustawienie powtarzalnych płatności z małymi nawet sumami, to będziemy w stanie pociągnąć to leczenie dalej.
