Who We Are

We are raising financial support to attend the Entrepreneurship forum taking place in Lagos Nigeria from 12th-14th at the Tony Elumelu Foundation Hub.

Fifty five (55) Kenyan Entrepreneurs have been selected to participate in the prestigious annual Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship forum in Lagos. This is following a twelve week online program that the entrepreneurs have completed. Attached please find a complete list and the sectors that are represented by both genders.

The Entrepreneurship forum offers the participants an opportunity to pitch their businesses to potential investors and other business people.

Attending the Entrepreneurship forum will enable us widen our networks of fundraising and scaling up our businesses. This will give us an opportunity to come back and invest in our country hence boosting the private and SME sector.

The knowledge and skills we will acquire will be immediately applicable to our current projects which include:

  • Setting up businesses
  • Scaling up of businesses
  • Business expansion
  • Capacity building through creation of employment and up skilling human resource.

Expense Needs:

The total cost per person is estimated at USD 1,500 and includes, return air ticket, visa, meals and accommodation for the 4 days in Lagos. Total amount for 55 entrepreneurs is USD82,500 ( Ksh8,662,500 ).

We have with this request, attached emails confirming our participation and invitation from the foundation.

Thank you for considering supporting our request for sponsorship to attend this important forum, not just for ourselves but for the greater benefit of the youth and entrepreneurs in Kenya.

Our Promise:

Upon return we commit to hold a free workshop on Entrepreneurship and Trans-formative Leadership for 100 youth mobilized by the Ministries and other private sector players. Going forward we plan to strengthen the cohort within Kenya and East Africa to create networking and mentorship opportunities to other upcoming entrepreneurs.
