On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, Tom Ross, beloved father, brother, son and friend, passed away. He is survived by his loving wife; Nina, son Christopher, daughters Gabrielle, Tabitha and Ashley, four grandchildren, siblings, parents and countless friends all which he cherished so dearly.
Always understated yet confident, Tom left our side without pain or remorse. He lived life humble, always giving and compassionate. A tireless worker, sharing time and devotion to his young family, his legacy will live on in our memories.

Surviving loved ones requires reflection upon our own mortality. We are forced to continue our lives with the reassurance that our loved ones would have supported putting aside the pain, loneliness and emptiness that has been left behind to lead fulfilling lives. The burden that we face - must be faced head on, if not by personal fortitude, than by the comforting thought that the ones we lost would have wanted us to do so.
The 14th-century Persian poet, Hafiz, wrote;
