Together let’s better Chuck’s Challenge to raise funds for water for Plumpets

Yesterday @bizzibabs_pra_siamese #bizzibabs_pra_siamese accepted Chucks’s Challenge to equal or better his donation of 5L of water to go to Plumpets. Plumpets, an animal shelter, established in 2006 in Cape Town is a no kill shelter. Plumpets have rescued and re-homed hundreds of rescue cats and dogs since opening. Every animal brought to Plumpets is given the best chance of a happy life and good home. They rely on support of the public through donations.

Chuck, was adopted from Plumpets in 2015. As a big thank you to Plumpets Chuck has started a campaign to help Plumpets with donations of bottled water as soon as Day Zero kicks in. As things stand now Day Zero will start on 12 April 2018.

What is Day Zero?

It is the day the taps run dry. Four milliom residential properties and businesses will have no water. Water distrubtion points to collect water will be opened to the public but the allocation will be maximum 25L per person per day - there is no allocation of water for our animals. Imagine trying to run an animal shelter without water.

Please help @bizzibabs_pra_siamese better Chuck’s challenge with donations for us to purchase bottled water to give to Chuck, Chuck will give it to Plumpets. All donations will be used for the purchase of water.

Plumpets and the work they do is well known to Bizzibabs and his family. Bizzibabs was not adopted from Plumpets - he is a registered, pedigree Sealpoint Siamese, blind at 2 years due to PRA, Progressive Retinal Atrophy but his two dog “brothers” are rescue Plumpet dogs given a second chance because Plumpets cares.
