Together for Barbara: Funding Mama’s Big Fight Against Cancer

Our mother, Barbara Jean Lens or Tita Barbie for most of our friends, is best known for her warmth and laughter. She has spent a good part of her life caring for and helping others, and now she's the one needing help.

Barbara was recently diagnosed with early stage cervical cancer. Her doctor recommends immediate surgery to prevent the disease from spreading.

Her husband, Henk, and us five kids are all chipping in to fund the procedure, but your support would go a long way in easing the high costs and providing her the best care we can get her during and after the surgery.
