These Children Need Books.

Kids with big dreams, but nothing to accomplish them.

Today, you can change their lives.

These children in rural Guizhou are in dire need stationary, music and art items, and more than that: books. The pages are a wonderland that brings their dreams to life.

They share about a dozen of these between 130 students in 4 classrooms ~ They have big aspirations, but share the same reality.

With even a small donation of 5$, you can make a big impact on even one small child by providing them with the tools needed for them to begin to pave their way in our world. Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.

This fundraise was initiated as one side of my family was raised in the harsh conditions (my mother). Particularly, a cousin of mine left school at age 12, as her father died and she needed to take care of the household and her younger siblings (see images). I want to provide for all those fortunate enough to be part of it, even a school broken to the point of wreckage, make the experience mean something and change their lives.

Why is this fundraiser personal?

This fundraiser is labeled personal as this school is not aided by any organisation. Donations will be personally given to the school in form of travel.

How will I know my money is going where it goes?

Proof will be provided in images/video recounts updated accordingly to show this trip, and exactly what is purchased and that this is given to the students (leaving on December 20th for trip).

Where and in what condition is this school?

Location: 4 hours from the closest city. Extremely isolated.

Facilities: about 4 classrooms with moth-eaten wooden walls, only posters and a dirty blackboard as resources - 6 teachers catering to 130 students.

Travel fees to area all provided by myself. Fundraiser purely for purchasing materials these children need.
