Campaign Story
Greetings everyone,
My name is Aviwe Mnotoza from eNtloko a small remote area in Peddie, Eastern Cape. In 2018, I enrolled in matric and obtained admission to Bachelor's Degree at the tertiary level.
I was extremely thrilled with my matric results and keen to further my studies and fulfill my desired dream of being a woman in a challenging field of entrepreneurship.
Since my matric, I've been applying to a number of different tertiary institutions at Universities, University Of Technology, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, Learnerships, Artisan Academies, and Scholarships with no luck of receiving any form of matriculation acceptance for enrollment.
I'm primitively accumulated to this concept "never give up to the concept of never giving up in your dreams"
Even though I'm striving to fulfill my desired dream I also face challenges that every black child faces when they want to climb up the ladder.
Challenges such as disadvantaged background, financial constraints, and lack of sources of information and access to government and NGO's youth empowerment programmes.
I have not yet stepped my feet at tertiary or in entrepreneurship as I stipulated during my matric year, 2018.
While I was waiting for responses from my school application, on the other hand, I was also busy with business programmes of selling skin and healthcare products with good profit but due to environmental challenges, my attempts were not fruitful enough.
A while back I made the means to open a pedicure and manicure hub in Peddie but due to Covid 19 pandemic, I had to put hold to it.
Recently I took over from where I left surprisingly in a small town with a number of dispersed settlements and averaged with old aged people and unemployed youth like me, my business is gaining a number of customers each day.
Now I want to grow myself in this business and open a Beautician Salon.
The issue to grow my business is that I do not have enough capital to buy kit material for salon business.
On 2nd May, it is my birthday and I will be turning 22 years old.
As a birthday gift, I would appreciate your donation to help me raise funds to grow my business, to make my dream come true dispute all odds that I'm facing.
This salon business will have a significant effect on me because I will provide for my fragile siblings after the passing of our mother during the pick of Covid 19 pandemic, who was our everything and primary provider for our basic human needs.
Furthermore, I want to have a team of skilled young minds with an artistic eye in the beauty industry.
This will not only assist me but it will be a samaritan hand to the fight against poverty and youth unemployment in my home town.
As a result, I will be active in the battle to address the problem of high youth unemployment in Peddie, which is one of my ultimate goals also.
Be part of the struggle against giving up on dreams by donating from your pocket.
Thank you very much in advance and may the almighty God bless you all.
