To See My Girlfriend

My girlfriend and I have been together for years now, and we plan to eventually move in together, marry, have children... Yet there's a few barriers in our way.

One is that she lives several hundred miles over the North Atlantic ocean.

With me in education at college/ university and her with her own commitments in America, it is hard for us to save money in order to see each other.

I've missed so many birthdays and Christmases and family events, that I feel like I am hardly a part of her life, even though we are both huge priorities to each other. In 2020, February, I plan to surprise her for her birthday. I have not seen her for her past 2, and want nothing else but to give her the birthday that she deserves.

That's why I've turned to this site, for your help. No one should have to be apart from those they love the most.
