I made some research about how single parent( particularly mothers) who are disabled in this their condition of not working, able to cater for their children in terms of schooling in my community, Tishiegu,Tamale in Ghana, West Africa. I have the opportunity to talk to paraplegic mothers, blind mothers and those in wheel chairs due to amputation of their legs. Some of the responses they made were so tragedy and painful. One blind mother called Ama Konadu who is well educated woman said she has been neglected severally anytime she submits her application to a reputable company.

Then this drew my attention to the fact that 90 percent of this discrimination act occurs to our single mothers who are disabled. This also means that, when these disabled mothers are not able to cater for their children's education, it will have negative impact on these children such street children, arm robbers, child labor to mention but a few. Because of this I have had the passion to solicit for funds to support these needy vulnerable children in my community.
