To live, not to survive

Hello there!

My name is Galia and I am from Ukraine.

Never heard of lacking the information? Honestly, I am not surprised.

Nowadays this biggest country in Europe, having collosal potential, is basically ruined and erased from the globe.

It's was torn apart by unstoppable millitary conflict (unrecognisable war), deep economical crises and strong discrimination based on the language spoken.

People are simply terrorised and looking even for a vaguely opportunity or hope. However, the low level of education and vise versa the high level of corruption make these hopes almost unachievable.

I am not that kind of person who asks for help without having particular reason to do so.

But I am fed up living in the country where your home each minute might be destroyed, where nobody follows the law, where I cannot use my own language because of governmental policy.

And frankly, I am very scared.

Despite the system, I was able to learn English on my own and entered an excellent university in Europe, in Warsaw.

My family and I were working hard to support me on this stage, however, when you earning around $100 per month, it's not enough even to cover some primary needs and totally impossible to make some savings.

I am desperate now, since even with brains it's seems unrealistic to escape from this vicious circle and afford yourself to live, not to survive.

That's why now I am asking you, people, for help. I cannot offer much in return, but everybody who sends something, will definitely receive something from me back. It could be a postcard, a poem, a picture or probably my greetings recorded on video.

I believe in you, people. One person is always week and fragile, but together we could achieve anything.
