Campaign Story
Since the lockdown started in South Africa a lot of people lost their jobs which let to many people loosing their place of residence and being homeless in the streets of Pretoria.As a community organisation we had to set up temporary shelters to accomodate those who were left homeless since the lockdown started in South Africa.
Through the mercy of God we managed to set up 5 temporary shelters throughout the City of Tshwane within a peroid of 2 weeks.In December due to lack of funds we had to close down 2 of our temporary shelters and had to squizz the people from those shelters with the ones in the other shelter which was not safe nor healthy.But through the mercy of God in January we managed to sercure an apartment wich we plan to turn into a permanent shelter for the homeless.
The challenge we have now is making a place look and feel like a real home for the people living inside of it.The campaign is all about raising money to renovate the place and also to mantain the place.Some of the people have chronic desease and in need of Special care.Your assistance will highly be appreciated..
