To fulfill my weaboo dreams

Hello, everyone! My name is Dan Gabriel A. Gabica, and thank you for having the interest of even opening this page. Even though it feels like a joke or even cringe-worthy, there's actually a more deep and profound reason as to why I created this fundraiser.

And that is, to fulfill my dreams of visiting one of the most countries I ever admired second to my home country. When I first discovered the country called Japan, as you would expect just from the campaign title, I learned about it from anime, and I am not ashamed for that.

Even though the word "weaboo" is a derogatory word meant for people who had forsaken their patriotism for their own country and had praised Japan as their home country, instead of standing before the borderline of admiring and forcefully taking it as your own. I don't feel ashamed for including the word in my campaign title.

Because I don't really care about what people thinks, and says about me, because I just want to be true to my desires and become a person of whom I could say that it is me.

As for this campaign that I created as a joke, if everyone actually donates to this campaign I would truly be grateful. For every penny of donation means the world to me as a person who dreams to achieve something that may be unreachable in my entire lifetime.

Living in poverty doesn't prevent me in helping myself in achieving my dreams, for I believe that only I could create the path that I could walk to success

Words are not enough to express my gratitude to those who donated. Though I prefer that you don't donate and waste your money to me. I don't have the final say, for that is your own decision.

Even If I don't reach this goal, I hope that in the year 2020, I would be able to step inside the country called Japan. The country of where my desires, lies.
