Campaign Story
Hello, thank you for taking your time visiting my page. I'm Adrian a 4th year Filipino college student taking up BS International Hospitality Management and currently running for latin awards. Ever since I was high school, I have been a scholar. Being a high school student, I sold my mom's home made filipino delicacies in school. I sold it to my fellow students, faculty, and other school staff. I also became a working student in school where I earned 115 aud per month. I did this just so I can somehow lift my parents baggage and to learn to be a little more independent. If it weren't for my academic excellence, I won't be able to have a good education. The money that my parents earn is just good for our food and shelter. I'm hoping to get help online, so I can push through my dreams further and test my capabilities. Having one's potential growth hindered by financial difficulties, I don't want that to stop me. If I get a chance to study my Masters in Australia in The Hotel School, I'll get to have a part time job as well and probably support my other siblings to finish their studies too. My Dad is getting old, he is already 59 years old. My mom is a bit younger, but she only sends us about 170 aud per month for being a domestic helper in Macau. I'm afraid that what my parent's earn won't be enough to get my siblings to college. Even if I get to work here in the Philippines, entry level position salary will still not suffice.
The curriculum will lasts for 2 years. My expenses for my tuition fee will be 26000 AUD for the whole year, and I plan to shoulder for the following academic year through saving up money. The masters degree have 3 terms per year, in which I can get the third term as a break. It would last around 3 to 4 months, in which I can get a full time job. Meanwhile, during on going academic terms, I can work part time for only 20 hours per week. I'll earn about 18-25 dollars per hour. This will already be enough to sustain my food, lodging, and save some money. After graduating, Australia will give a 2-year post graduate visa where I can work full-time. If I already saved up enough money, I'm planning to go back home and have my own business. I also want to serve my country by imparting my professional wisdom and skills to the economy and future industry workers too.
I hope you guys can help me with my dream. I have the confidence to post this because there are people who believe in my abilities and I'll try my best not to dissapoint them and you.
